Surgical Hospitalist
 

In order to help meet the current crisis in surgical care and call coverage I work at a Surgical Hospitalist. This is a new role for surgeons created to improve care for patients hospitalized on surgical services and patients presenting to the Emergency Room with surgical problems. I work with other surgeons, residents and medical students operating on and caring for surgical patients. I also participate in quality control measures and research.
